On December 10, 2024, ZEHO ECO successfully won the bid for the Zhaifu River water ecological restoration project at the Luhu inlet tributary in Jiangxia District, Wuhan. This achievement marks another significant breakthrough for the company in the Wuhan market, following its successful bid in June 2024 for the key lake basin pollution traceability and water environment management project in Wuhan. This new success lays a solid foundation for the company to win more market opportunities and orders in the region in the future.
The project is located in Anshan Street, Jiangxia District, Wuhan, within the Luhu tributary Zhaifu River basin. Zhaifu River was selected as a pilot for the comprehensive management of small basins in Wuhan. As one of the many "capillary" rivers along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the project will implement the new directives from General Secretary Xi Jinping on the protection of the Yangtze River. It aims to create a model for small basin management in the southeastern hills of Hubei, characterized by "livable environments, prosperous cultural tourism, and thriving industries." The ecological restoration of the Zhaifu River will improve flood standards, restore river ecological functions, enhance surrounding agriculture and related industries, protect water sources, revive river and lake ecosystems, and contribute to scientific land greening, regional rural revitalization, and the creation of livable and business-friendly rural communities.
Since 2023, the company has proactively adjusted its market strategy, focusing on key cities including Beijing, Wuhan, Ningbo, and Shenzhen. It has expanded its regional market through joint ventures with local state-owned enterprises and leading companies.
